Episode 94
This is a brief Edition; Okay, lets dig in!
Introduction
"Light, as shining in our hearts and minds—so be it."
That was my daily chant at the age of 12. Yes, twelve! While most kids were busy memorizing multiplication tables or trying to sneak extra cartoons past bedtime, I was sitting cross-legged, whispering about Light like I already had a PhD in metaphysics.
Now, I understand at that age, many of you were probably being taught something else entirely. Maybe your Sundays involved suits, pews, and sermons, or perhaps you were raised with strict cultural beliefs that carved Light into something boxed, branded, and tightly bound in doctrine. That's not a criticism; it’s just the human way. We like neat labels, even for things as massive and mysterious as Light.
But though, I have my facts in check, which is: whether you found Light through spirituality or religion (and yes, they both talk about it), chances are, what you were handed wasn’t the real thing. It was the knockoff, the decoy, the Light with a fake designer tag. You know what I mean? I know you do; or perhaps, you don't. Whichever, let’s just dive into it.
So, What Is Light?
No, I’m not talking about the thing that comes from your ceiling bulb or the sunlight that rudely wakes you up when you forgot to close the curtains. I’m talking about the primal, conscious, sacred Light; what ancient mystics called “divine illumination,” what sages felt in meditation, what children sometimes feel naturally until the world teaches them to “grow up” and “be realistic.”I'm goof+
Light, in this metaphysical sense, is awareness. It is Truth. It is clarity without the filter of illusion. But—and here’s where it gets juicy; Light doesn’t always look like Light.
See, the real mess began when people started mistaking false light for the true one. And I get it. The false light is sexy. It sparkles, it seduces, it promises you success, power, popularity, and peace of mind... all for a small cost: your true self.
Enter: The Great Inversion
Here’s the paradox you never learned in Sunday school or during your motivational TED Talk binge; everything in this physical world is inverted. Yes, flipped, like a mirror reflecting back the reverse.
In this reality, Light often shows up wearing the mask of Darkness; and Darkness, meanwhile, puts on glitter and walks around pretending to be Light. It’s like cosmic cosplay, and most people don’t even notice the switch. How would they when all they wish for is the latest iPhone and an endless scrolling of their instagram feeds. Haha, gatcha!
Let me break it down with a bit of humour, because this whole thing is as tragic as it is absurd.
Imagine walking into a spiritual supermarket. One aisle is filled with self-proclaimed "lightworkers" selling peace, love, and good vibes; only, when you read the fine print, it says: “Warning: Side effects may include spiritual arrogance, chronic avoidance of shadow work, and an inflated ego wrapped in white robes.”
Then, in the next aisle, you meet someone covered in tattoos, sipping black coffee, talking about demons and shadows and inner chaos. Scary? Maybe. But they might be the one carrying the actual Light—the raw, honest truth that cuts through illusion like a blade.
Inverted, right?
My Father's Words & The Mirror Maze
My father, a man of many insights and very few unnecessary words, once said to me, “The illusion of this world is too much. If you're not careful, you'll become a part of it; living a lie and calling it life.”
Those words didn’t hit me right away. But as I grew; mentally, spiritually, and painfully, I began to see what he meant.
We live in a mirror maze. Everything you think you see is only the reflection of a deeper, invisible truth. What you perceive is not what is; it’s what you’ve been trained to accept.
Let’s be honest. Most people live their entire lives responding to illusions. They chase career success thinking they'd find happiness. They pursue lusts thinking it's salvation and peace of mind. They follow trends believing it’s identity. But what they’re really doing is getting lost in smoke and mirrors, confusing the spotlight for the sun.
That’s why seeing the world as inverted is not a psychological exercise; it’s survival. Don't get me wrong, seeking career success is a sure thing, if that is a crime, then I am as guilty as everyone else, but, just read that part again, I am sure you'd get the point.
Think Upside-Down to See Right-Side Up

The only way to break through the veil of illusion is to flip your perception. If Light appears as Darkness, and Darkness appears as Light, then logically, you need to think upside-down to see things in their right-side up.
This isn’t a new concept, by the way. It’s ancient.
The Hermetic principle of polarity and the teachings of the Kybalion both hint at it. Even Taoist paradoxes and the Gnostic idea also teach that the material world is ruled by a false god; an impostor of the true Light.
In simple terms? What the world applauds is often rotten at the core. And what the world rejects or fears; stillness, solitude, inner work, shadow exploration; is often where the real treasure lies.
The False Light Agenda
Let’s touch on something a little controversial: the false light agenda.
Yes, it’s a thing.
False light is manipulative. It promises clarity but delivers confusion. It talks love but demands blind obedience. It preaches unity but thrives on exclusion. It looks clean, but it sterilizes your spirit.
Here’s how you can tell the difference between false light and true Light:
False Light | True Light |
---|---|
Tells you what to think | Teaches you how to think |
Avoids darkness | Integrates darkness |
Feels good but shallow | Feels real, even if uncomfortable |
Needs external validation | Anchored in inner knowing |
Demands conformity | Invites authenticity |
The true Light doesn’t need a spotlight. It doesn’t need to shout or dress in glitter. It simply is. And when you find it, you don’t feel better; you feel whole. Even your shadows feel seen.
So, How Do You See the Real Light?
Here’s the practical side of this philosophical rant.
To see the true Light, you must:
- Question everything: Yes, everything. Especially what makes you comfortable.
- Learn to love discomfort: Growth often wears a scary mask.
- Engage your inner mirror: Meditate. Reflect. Journal. Stay brutally honest.
- Observe people and systems: If something demands your soul in exchange for peace; it’s not Light, it's a trap.
- Let yourself be weird: The real ones always are.
- Trust the whispers: The still, small voice inside is your compass. The louder the world gets, the quieter you must become to hear it.
And please, for the love of all things sacred, stop chasing angels while ignoring your inner demons. The two need to dance in balance; not fight.
Final Thoughts: The Light Within
By the way, when I used to say "Light, as shining in our hearts and minds, so be it", I wasn’t quoting some New Age guru or repeating what I saw on a bumper sticker. I felt it.
Even at twelve, I knew Light wasn't something you found in temples or scriptures, it was something that lived inside you. It wasn’t loud. It didn’t have branding. It didn’t care about titles, likes, or praise. It just was.
And it still is.
You don't need to find the Light. You need to unlearn the illusions that blocks its manifestation. Because real Light doesn’t scream “Here I am!” It whispers, “I never left.”
So next time the world tries to sell you a shiny, sparkly version of truth, ask yourself: Is this the Cosmic Light… or is this just a perfectly designed and very well-lit Darkness?
See it inverted. And maybe then, you'll finally see it right.
