I know that many of you blame the African ANCESTORS as the bringers of such tradition but you should know that this is a worldwide traditional system perpetuated by all the major religions of today, thus it was an adapted tradition and such a practice which of cause has its dangers and side effects must be exposed for the benefit of our female children.

Today we need movies with educational contents like this, that is, movie’s that involves some depth of enlightenment which concerns us directly, something such as this, the practice of FGM and it’s consequences has been hidden from public eyes, kept secret and away from the media thus causing the public to believe that such practices no longer exists, at the same time giving those who still practice it more encouragement which then makes their younger generation to think and accept such a cruel act as normal, yes, they have been made to believe that FGM is just as normal as having a birthday party!

Nonetheless, with a blockbuster movie such as this, will bring them awareness and enlightenment which will probably help our current generation to break that chain and raise better and respectful woman child and that is all we need to build a conducive world for our female children and the rest to come!
